Whether it’s an administrative policy, state law, or local ordinance, passing and implementing a policy is just the beginning. The next step is policy evaluation: determining whether a policy has achieved its intended objectives, understanding what effects can be attributed to the policy, and identifying whether any changes to the policy are needed. Policy evaluation is rarely simple or straightforward. The effectiveness of policies can be impacted by a variety of factors, including the political environment, availability of funding, the length of time the policy has been in place, and the degree to which the policy is enforced.
During this webinar, you will hear from presenters that are evaluating policies related to motor vehicle safety. Presenters will discuss the methodology and challenges of policy evaluation, as well as what they hope to achieve as part of the evaluation process. Featured speakers:
